In 2008, I found myself in a place of uncertainty. I was jobless and on the path to divorce with two children under the age of 6. I had no sense of direction, no clear picture of what the future would look like for us, but I didn’t want it to be anything like the past—I needed a change, and so did my boys. This chaotic time in my life became a catalyst for self-discovery. I began to unravel all the emotional blockages and unhealthy thoughts that limited me from being my best self and living my best life. I became aware of the beliefs that I’d inherited from my family, religion, community, and culture that negatively affected my decisions and encouraged me to accept unhealthy relationships and situations. All in all, this experience led me to explore matters of the heart and changing my life for the better.

Now, I help men and women discover what stops them from living their truth and experiencing the life God intended for them to live. Not only do I help others to discover the power within themselves, but I also help them to use this power to live a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Have you ever felt like you weren’t enough? Do you need a safe place to be open and honest about your feelings and life challenges? Are you struggling with negative thinking and how it impacts your behavior?

Heart Matters is about navigating your life and relationships in an authentic and value-driven way. It’s about becoming aware of toxic, unhealthy thinking and understanding how it directly impacts your mental, spiritual, and physical health.

Heart Matters is a safe space to:

  • Uncover issues that hinder healthy perspectives

  • Replace negative thinking with truth

  • Begin the process of discovering your true identity

How we process and face heart matters is to the degree of how we experience healthy, productive living. Together, let’s find what feels good.
