In Loving Memory of
Glenda Faulkner-Woodliff
Co-Founder
With more than 30 years of experience, Glenda brought a depth of wisdom, compassion, and clinical expertise to her work. She specialized in trauma, dissociation disorders, faith-based counseling, spiritual abuse, grief, and family-of-origin issues, offering care to individuals, couples, and families seeking healing and restoration.
Glenda was trained in several modalities and was known for thoughtfully tailoring treatment to the unique needs and story of each person she served.
After establishing a respected private practice in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex more than 28 years ago, Glenda realized a long-held vision when she co-founded Open Doors Life Center with Leah Rocha in September of 2020.
Her dream was to create a place of healing that cared for the whole person, mind, body, and spirit, while also cultivating a collaborative environment where counselors and coaches could work together with purpose and joy.
Those who walked through the doors often remarked on the peaceful atmosphere. To Glenda, that was the greatest compliment, because it reflected the heart behind the work she devoted her life to.
Her influence continues through the many lives she touched, the clinicians she mentored, and the ongoing mission of Open Doors Life Center.
