The landscape of life looks very different since SARS- CoV-2, AKA, COVID introduced itself in late 2019. This group is designed to explore different topics such as - loss, grief, future, career, loneliness, coping skills, partnerships, identity, etc. As we support, encourage, listen and share different perspectives on how each of us manage a new way of life.
On Wednesday nights, Avery will co-lead with Kiasi to explore musical expression as it relates to healing and mental well-being. Avery will share how music and song writing became her safe place amid recent tragedy.
"Before COVID hit, I thought everything was finally falling into place for me, and then suddenly my ground was being ripped out from under me in every way. Music made it feel possible for me to create new grounds to stand on, and it taught me to take charge of my own reality."
Join Kiasi and Avery for this special time of sharing, relation and creative processing through music. Artistic expression is encouraged! Feel free to bring your guitar or a special song to share as we discuss how music and lyrics can give voice to internal struggles and emotional conflict.
